When you have a baby there seems to be a never ending list of items that you need to purchase. Some are worth investing in like carseats and stollers while others are an unnecessary expense.
Something that is one of those essentials is a decent high chair, from the time your little one starts eating until toddler age they will sit in there three times a day. A high chair needs to be comfortable, strong and designed to get messy.
After using a few different Steelcraft products, it really is no surprise to me that they have a lovely little high chair which I would be happy to recommend called the Milano Hi-Lo highchair.
To begin with, you can put a younger baby in there – even when they aren’t eating they can sit at the table and be with the rest of the family. Everything is adjustable with different heights, recline options, leg rest and tray being easily adapted to suit your child’s needs. In terms of little bubs, there is an attachable padded insert for added head support.
The swivel wheels lock into place, and I can tell you right now I would never buy a highchair without caster wheels because I am constantly dragging this around. As a mother I am all about making things easier and this is easy to maneuver, easy to put together (I put it together myself without a single bead of sweat) and easy to clean.
Besides being strong and comfortable, there are a few little extras that may or may not be relevant. An inbuilt cup holder on the tray and one on the side of the chair (which kids love as they get a little bigger), and a storage basket underneath. I haven’t used the basket for anything yet but I am never going to say no to extra storage space.
The Milano Hi-Lo Highchair has a five point adjustable safety harness and is suitable for children up to 15kg. The RRP is $199.
