Last week we featured an interview with Ally, the founder of Minimink, and now I want to share with you my experiences with the range. There are two products which I have been testing:
The Minimink Rug / Wrap / Throw
This is the rug that started the brand, and is still the best seller. It is made from faux fur which is extremely soft and snuggly and is lined with cream jersey. The size is 100cm square which gives it a variety of uses for baby such as a blanket, play mat or for use in the pram.
Even though I think this size is suited best for a bub, since it has made its way into my home it has used by the whole family – including Mr Lace! It’s warm and cosy, and I have never felt another blanket quite like it.
There are other sizes available and the one I have here is cherry red which is a new colour for the brand. There are more neutral shades but the red really pops when places on our chocolate lounge so is now used to decorate as well as a blanket!
You can machine was this and even tumble dry it on low – perfect for babies. RRP $89.00
The Handbag
The second product I have been using is the Handbag in Chocolate, and it is really something quite unique! The bag has that soft faux fur on the outside similarly to the rugs, which makes you literally want to cuddle your handbag. The handles are faux leather and is lined on the inside.
This is a nice sized bag and comes with a pocket and spot for your phone. This is one of the new additions to the Minimink collection and has an RRP of $50.00
