Product Recall – Child Restraint Vehicle Anchor Kit

IGC Dorel constantly test their products for safety and performance, and they have discovered a component fault in the vehicle anchor kit. This fault only affects batch 22 & 23, affecting only products purchased AFTER April 2012.

If you have purchased new child restraints since April 2012 please check out the batch on your anchor kit, it is much better to be safe than take the risk.

A public recall of the vehicle anchor kit supplied with Maxi-Cosi, Safety 1st, Mother’s Choice, Go Safe, ZuZu and SAAS Car Restraints; including Mother’s Choice and Safety 1st vehicle anchor kits sold through Target, Toys ‘R’ Us, David Jones, Supercheap, Autobarn, Dimmeys and Independent Specialty retailers across Australia.

The recall being conducted by IGC Dorel is a preventative measure and the affected batches are 22 & 23. If this part fails in a collision it could well affect the performance of the child restraint, and that’s a risk that none of us want to face.
