Recently my daughter turned four, and due to her height it was the right time to switch her to a booster seat. Britax is a trusted brand in my house and I am more than comfortable placing her safely in their new Safe n Sound Hi-Liner SG every time we travel in the car.
As someone who is attached to my smaller car, one of the first things that I found positive about this booster seat is the slim design. This doesn’t mean you are sacrificing on safety however, as you still get deep side wings for head and neck protection. The headrest is simple to adjust and the maximum growth height markers make it easy to get the height position customised correctly for your child.
It is worth mentioning that this is the tallest tethered E- Type booster in Australia so for those with taller children or if you just want to keep their child in a booster for longer, this is an ideal choice. This is easy to install, the top tether secures to the anchor point in your car and used with a seatbelt. It comes with a sideguard clip which is necessary to keep the car seat belt in place, this can make a huge difference in the unfortunate event of a crash. Optionally you may wish to use a safety harness for additional support.
As you would expect from Britax the Safe n Sound Hi-Liner ticks all the safety boxes and is made for children from 4 to approximately 6-8 years of age.
In addition to the safety features, comfort and slim design this is easy to wash. The cover is removable and can be placed on a gentle cycle in your washing machine – because kids can be messy!
This comes in 5 colours with Pink, Red, Grey, Ink Blue and Purple Haze. Let me tell you, Miss 4 is ecstatic to ride in style in her bright pink booster (pictured)!
I would recommend this product and will continue to use it for my daughter.
