The Uglydoll brand had an interesting beginning. What started as a drawing of a funny character named Wage has become an award winning product range.
Two artists in love, David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim have made these “not so ugly” plush toys into a must have item, not only for children, but also those with a soft spot for unconventional cuteness.
The selection of Uglydolls is always growing, and they are just so lovable you will want to collect them all.
Classic Uglydolls are 12-14 inches tall, making them the perfect size to cuddle. They each have their own unique personalities, including my absolute favourite – the pink Peaco.
“Peaco is very shy. Well…shy on the outside. On the inside Peaco is a wild man! You can see it in his eyes. All three.
Peaco really shines when he’s doing what he does best. DANCING! Peaco loves to dance in the water…much to the dread of his cousin Cinko. Why dance in the water? Well, think about it! When you dance in the water no one can see you!”
How cute is that? I am in love! There are over 20 crazy critters in the Uglydoll family and they all have a story to tell.
I like toys that inspire imagination and creativity, and the Uglydolls certainly do that! Chances are, even your favourite celebrity is a fan as they are becoming increasingly popular. Paris Hilton, Hillary Duff, Brad Pitt and Robin Williams each have a favourite, just to name a few!
Beauty and Lace LOVE Uglydolls! This is mainly due to their unusual looks, huggability and gorgeous personalities.
