VTech recently won an award for their Toot-Toot Drivers Garage as it took out the title of 2012 Preschool Toy of the Year in Australia.
This toy has quickly became a favourite since we introduced it into our home, with both our 1 year old and 3 year old being able to enjoy it.
This is an interactive play garage with car friendly activities like a car wash, petrol station and checkpoint. It comes with one Toot-Toot tow truck and you can buy other vehicles separately and they will also be compatible with the garage (with a unique song for each).
In terms of learning it comes with music and helps your child learn about weather, the alphabet and colours. As a parent I am happy for my children to sit and play with this, there is nothing irritating or overly repetitive about the sounds.
The vehicles can be driven around the garage and there is even a lift to take them to the next level – this feature is definitely a hit with my 3 year old.
The fun, bright colour scheme is appealing and the overall quality of the garage is high. I was able to put this together in minutes and there were no additional tools required.
