Knox School Holiday Fun with Dirtgirl

These September School Holidays there are fabulous fun spring time activities on offer FREE at Knox Shopping Centre.

Children love to play in the dirt, I want to say ALL children but that’s a little too much of a generalisation but definitely most children love to play in the dirt. They love to get their hands dirty. Some of them I am sure love to do it in the pursuit of gardening rather than just for the sake of getting dirty. Either way these activities are going to make their day.

Green thumbed gardeners can get their gumboots on and join ‘Dirtgirl’ for an exciting session of seed planting where children get to create an eco pot plant all of their own to plant at home. Not only will it be a great activity to do on the day but a perfect excuse to exercise their green thumb regularly as they look after their plants at home.

To stick with the green theme and take it to a different track the other green holiday activity is environmentally green rather than garden green. Children can join in at the Eco Bag Activity Centre and decorate a cool eco bag to take home.

These activities will run:

Eco Bag Activity Centre

There is plenty more to see and do at Knox Shopping Centre which is conveniently located about 25kms from the Melbourne CBD. You will find a little bit of everything at Knox with it’s two distinct precincts – Knox City an Knox O-Zone.

Knox City is a fully enclosed two level centre containing around 280 specialty stores as well as the major department stores and supermarkets. Knox O-Zone on the other hand is the outdoor dining, leisure and entertainment hub of the centre which also includes retail stores – large furniture, white goods and some commercial offices. All of this brought together by the Village Cinemas which is home to one of the largest cinema screens in Australia.

Knox certainly sounds like the kind of place you could spend a fun filled day of entertainment these school holidays!
