The Tag Junior is a battery operated device that encourages a love of reading for 2-4 year olds. Used with Tag Junior board books, by pressing it onto the page it interacts with sounds and speech.
When placed on the writing it will read out the story for your child and when used on images it will speak, sing or offer fun sound effects. Some of the characters even ask your child to find something within the book, for example “can you find a horse” and they get congratulated when they locate it successfully.
This is a smart and educational toy, that helps them learn while still being fun. It isn’t too small or fiddly making it just the right size for young children.
The starter set which has an RRP of $69.95 comes with one board book and the Tag Junior is preloaded so it will work straight away. It comes with a USB connection for your computer so you can download any additional books you purchase (RRP $16.95 each).
By signing up to their website there are a number of different resources and add-ons available, and the ability for it to say your child’s own name will have them smiling from ear to ear.
No matter what stage of their development they are at, there is a book that will suit them with all their favourite characters including Dora, Thomas and Toy Story.
Leapfrog learning systems cater for 6 months to 8 years.
Products from the LeapFrog reading range are available from all major retailers and independent toy stores.
